Chicago 2016 Olympic Google Map
Despite what the majority of my friends say, I didn’t have anything to do with Chicago not receiving the winning bid for the 2016 Summer Olympics! Either way, it was a fun experience working with the chicago2016.org web team on developing an interactive Google Map for their site. The Proposed Venues page was the second most visited next to the home page. Scroll down to check it out the app.
The Google team (JJ Lueck, Lara Antognoli and myself) provided a solution to view potential Chicago venues for the 2016 Summer Olympic Bid by contributing JavaScript code for the Google Maps API application and managing the project.
